All our routes are currently in use by ADI's (Approved Driving Instructors) on a daily basis in your local area. The examiners at Taunton are fair and it all depends on how well you drive on your test.
All Taunton Driving Test Routes can be downloaded from Route-Led. You'll still need an Approved Driving Instructor to teach you how to drive.
We supply a number of different route formats including Google Earth, GPSeXhange, Android, iPhone, TomTom, CoPilot and a number of other SatNav formats.

Independent Driving Test
The new driving test has two major changes from the 'old' / previous practical test. The first change is that you are only be required to carry out one driving manoeuvre instead of the previous requirement for two manoeuvres. This is to allow more time for the new INDEPENDENT DRIVING part of the test which is the 2nd and most significant change. At Route-Led providing a quality product and service to our customers is very important to us. We have a strict process in place to ensure all our routes are up to date and reliable for you to use.
Taunton driving test centre is located at 2 Scotts House Cook Way, Bindon Business Park, Taunton. The Taunton independent driving test consists of about 10 minutes where the driver will be asked to follow road signs to a destination given by the examiner, the candidate may be shown a diagram with a series of directions, or a combination of both. It doesn't matter if candidates don't remember every direction, or if they go the wrong way - that can happen to the most experienced drivers. The rest of the test is the same.
