There are a lot of speed changes on the Reading routes, including National Speed Limits, so you need to be aware of the speed limit of the roads you are on. The examiners at Reading are fair and it all depends on how well you drive on your test.
You'll still need an Approved Driving Instructor to teach you how to drive. Reading is considered by some as a hard test centre to pass.
The Reading driving test centre is located at 220 Elgar Road South, Reading.

We are working closely with local ADI's and learner drivers to keep our routes up to date. In the future, independent driving routes will also be added to our products.
The Reading independent driving test consists of about 10 minutes where the driver will be asked to follow road signs to a destination given by the examiner, the candidate may be shown a diagram with a series of directions, or a combination of both. It doesn't matter if candidates don't remember every direction, or if they go the wrong way - that can happen to the most experienced drivers. The rest of the test is the same. At Route-Led we're continually working with local ADI's and learner drivers to keep our routes up to date. We also welcome any feedback on the routes we supply.
