The examiners at Chester MPTC are fair and it all depends on how well you drive on your test. You'll still need an Approved Driving Instructor to teach you how to drive.
The Chester MPTC driving test centre is located at Front Parade Ground, Saighton Camp, Huntington, Chester. The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) practical driving test is designed to test your ability to control the vehicle and to ensure what you have learnt over your lessons has stuck with you.
All our routes are currently in use by ADI's (Approved Driving Instructors) on a daily basis in your local area.

Using test routes whilst learning to drive can be very helpful, allowing you to practise on roads that you'll actually be driving during your test.
Chester MPTC is a busy area so expect to be driving on dual carriage ways and busy roads.
Independent Driving Test
The new driving test has two major changes from the 'old' / previous practical test. The first change is that you are only be required to carry out one driving manoeuvre instead of the previous requirement for two manoeuvres. This is to allow more time for the new INDEPENDENT DRIVING part of the test which is the 2nd and most significant change.
